Hoyinn Successfully Holds Inaugural Public Welfare Day: "Planting Green, Cultivating Talent"
Time:

Hoyinn has announced the establishment of an annual Corporate Public Welfare Day on the third Friday of April, aiming to give back to society through a series of charitable initiatives.

On April 18, the inaugural event, themed “Planting Green, Nurturing Talent for a Sustainable Future,”*took place at Hoyinn (Huailai) Technology Industrial Campus. By engaging in ecological restoration and talent development, the company exemplified its commitment to sustainability through the dual practices of “planting trees” and “cultivating people.”

Led by senior executives, Hoyinn’s tree-planting team worked collaboratively to dig soil, plant saplings, and water newly planted crabapple and Chinese flowering apple trees in the ecological buffer zone surrounding its green computing clusters. These young trees now stand firmly rooted, symbolizing renewed vitality.

Addressing the carbon footprint of computing infrastructure, Hoyinn CTO Zhou Tianyu emphasized that “while technological innovation serves as the hardcore foundation, tree-planting offers a natural solution.” He noted that a single mature tree can absorb approximately 18 kg of CO₂ annually. Through reforestation, soil carbon sequestration, and forestry carbon credit trading, the company’s green computing clusters aim to offset indirect emissions from data centers, pioneering a transition from “zero-carbon” to “carbon-negative” operations.

Cultivating talent, like nurturing forests, requires fertile cultural soil, growth platforms, and professional nourishment. Following the tree-planting activity, Hoyinn launched its 2025 Eagle Plan and held a leadership values conference. The company is committed to building a sustainable, ecology-oriented organization, offering talent development programs such as Eaglet, Flying Eagle, Golden Eagle, and Soaring Eagle to empower employees with career resilience and drive mutual growth between talent and ecosystems.

As newly planted saplings and Hoyinn employees basked in the spring sunlight, CEO Yang Xilin concluded the event with an inspiring message: “In the symphony of the digital economy and ecological civilization, only by ‘rooting deeply’ can we ‘grow upward.’ May the greenery we plant today and our green computing clusters thrive together, sharing the beauty of spring blossoms and autumn harvests.”

The inaugural Hoyinn Public Welfare Day marked a milestone in the company’s journey toward sustainable innovation and societal contribution.
